Founded in 2011, A Needle Runs Through It began with a simple idea: to create beautiful, practical tools for crafters that bring joy to every project. What started as a passion project on Etsy has grown into a family-run studio known for quality, creativity, and connection.

Our roots run deep in the crafting community. Taught to sew and knit by family, I learned early on the value of well-made tools and the satisfaction of handmade work. Today, I design each product with care, drawing inspiration from my own crafting experiences and the feedback of makers and shop owners like you.

Each item is handmade in our California studio by me and my family, using carefully sourced materials that ensure durability and charm. We specialize in creating accessories and organizational tools that are as useful as they are beautiful, designed with the needs of knitters, crocheters, and stitchers in mind.
